We are pleased to invite researchers, educators, academics, and practitioners in the field of English as a Second Language (ESL) to submit manuscripts for the upcoming issue of Language Bridge Academic Journal, a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to advancing knowledge, innovation, and best practices in second language education.

Our journal provides a platform for original research, theoretical insights, and practical applications in the field of ESL. We welcome submissions from diverse perspectives and global contexts that contribute to the understanding and enhancement of language learning and teaching.

Submission Guidelines

Manuscript Requirements

  • Length: 100–10,000 words (excluding references)
  • Please refer to Author Guidelines to identify which type of manuscript you are submitting to LBAJ.
  • Format: APA 7th edition style
  • Language: English
  • Abstract: A 200–250 word summary of the article
  • Keywords: 4–6 keywords representing the core focus of the paper

Document Submission

All manuscripts must include:

  1. A title page with the title, author(s) name(s), affiliation(s), country of origin, and contact details
  2. The main document (without identifying information for double-blind review)

  • Submit as a Word document (.docx)

Review Process

  • All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process.
  • Authors will receive feedback per the Peer Review Process within the following time frame (please note this may be adjusted at the discretion of the editorial board):
  • Manuscript Submission (Day 0-10)
  • Initial Review (Day 10-20)
  • Peer Review (Day 20-40)
  • Revisions (Day 40-60)
  • Final Acceptance (Day 60-70)
  • Publication Preparation (Day 70-80)
  • Publication (Day 80-90)
  • Selected articles will be published in the May 1, 2025 issue.
